After releasing numerous remixes within the past year through Knocksteady (Including ‘Sanity Is Temporary‘), my full length instrumental album was my focal point. In the midst of that creative journey, I stumbled onto a record store and acquired some interesting vinyl from their surprisingly abundant dollar bin. The music I discovered inspired me to make a collection of raw beats / instrumentals. Memory Palace is the first of a three part series of this music I’ve decided to release. Today I’m releasing “I Ruined These Songs For You Too.”  It’s a follow up to last year’s side project called (fittingly) “I Ruined These Songs For You.”  I take songs that I like, and I add a verse to them creating a fake collaboration.  Thanks for checking it out.

Check out last weeks in case you missed it.

This is a song I made with my homie Dibia$e. It’s a pure story-telling track and it reminds me of something that could’ve been on my first album.  It’s about a woman that used to get beat up by her man, and a man that’s just getting out of prison.  It was inspired by the fact my bathroom has a window that faces a busy street.  I hate that shit.
